Scott Nadler is Founding Principal at Nadler Strategies LLC, providing strategic advice to ESG/EHS leaders, executives, and investors. Focus areas (if not passions) in this last career stage are (1) honest climate strategy, and (2) preparing the next generation of ESG/EHS leaders who will spend their careers (and lives) trying to clean up the mess we are handing them.Scott's experience includes sustainability, environment, development, real estate, transportation, regulation, business-to-business (B2B) sales and customer service and international collaboration. His approach is shaped by over 45 years of hands-on experience building, leading and turning around organizations and supporting senior executives in both the private and public sectors.He speaks and writes on environment, sustainability and strategy topics. He taught at Northwestern University in the undergraduate program in Environmental Policy and Culture, and in the Social Enterprise program at the Kellogg School of Management.He has helped companies share lessons learned, as Vice Chair of the Global Environmental Management Initiative; Co-Chair of The Conference Board’s Chief EHS Officers’ Council; and leading ERM’s multi-company Business Integration Forums in the US, Europe and Asia. He served on the Executive Committee of the US Business Council for Sustainable Development before joining the staff there. He is Senior Fellow at GEMI where he leads or supports several multi-company work groups.Scott spent 20 years with ERM as a Partner, Technical Director and member of the Senior Leadership Team.
