Dr. Young Won Kim is currently a Senior Researcher at the Korea Additive Manufacturing Technology Innovation Center (KAMIC) of the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH). He received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Hanyang University, South Korea, in 2015 and 2019, respectively. Prior to his current position, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at both Purdue University and KITECH. His current research focuses on the digitalization, intelligence, and standardization of 3D printing data. His research interests include machine learning, energy harvesting, advanced micro- and nano-fabricated devices, piezo and triboelectric devices for sensing systems, and 3D metal printing.
