July 2019: BAE Systems is under contract as the Prime on both TA1 and TA2 for the DARPA SafeDocs program. I lead a small and talented team working on innovative defensive cyber security and network performance research projects for the the Cyber & Communications Technologies Research (C&CTR) Group of BAE Systems Technology Solutions (TS) based in Burlington, MA and in Arlington, VA.Lead author and PI on two successful ONR proposals and key contributor to several DARPA proposals.Sept 2014 News: our Congestion-Aware Caching and Search in Information-Centric Networks paper was awarded Runner-up for Best Paper at ACM ICN 2014

I worked as a PI, PM and Developer on multiple R&D projects primarily on network coding, wireless network protocols, social network analysis, network caching, system design and implementation, network emulation and Internet security for the Cyber & Communications Technologies Research (C&CTR) Group at BAE Systems Technology Solutions (TS).

Wrote and executed the SNAP proposal ($1.2M over 3 years) for ONR Code 31 Discovery and Invention S&T BAA and published 2 related conference papers.Developed the network monitoring platform and new algorithms for DARPA CBMANET Phase 2.

• Designed, extended and optimized a compiler for the Generic Application-layer Protocol Analysis (GAPA) language under Narsi Nagampalli • GAPA is the core of a new patented framework that enables deep packet inspection for the next generation of firewalls, network monitoring and management tools. Collaborated with senior researchers Helen Wang and John Dunagan of Microsoft Research• Presented a demonstration to Ben Fathi, Corporate VP of Security Technology Unit and his senior executive team

Served as mentor to 300+ undergraduate students living in the Choates, Wheeler-Richardson residential clusters and all the fraternities, sororities and affiliated houses at Dartmouth College. Advised students in career, internship and graduate school opportunities.

Implemented the On Demand Multicast Routing Protocol (ODMRP), an ad hoc wireless routing protocol for 802.11b wireless networks, using C and C++ on Linux, for use in real-world outdoor performance experiments
