Research PhD on Wave Analysis Techniques for Offshore Floating Wave Energy Convertors.The thesis is an investigation of the influence of the incident wave field on the power production of a floating wave energy convertor. This was researched through the assessment of data recovery methods; analysis methods such as digital signal processing, regression analysis and trend estimation, data visualisation, time series analysis, and frequency domain analysis. A new method for power output comparison was proposed.
