I've been in emergency medicine for over 15 years. I started as an EMT-B / FF for 12 years and have done the last 4 years in Northwestern ER and Mount Sinai Level One ER. I will be a Loyola ER full time by the end of this year. I started a nonprofit (Sneaker Heartz) almost 3 years ago as something to do in my spare time that would be good for the world. We're just a bunch of sneaker heads opening our closets and hearts to get our mission complete. Our mission is simple, get shoes on the feet of people that need the most. In less than 3 years we've donated and recycled over 18,000 pairs and almost 90,000 pieces of sports apparel to people and communities in need. I figured this would be a great resource to find like minded people who want to simply make the world better.
