I am a recent graduate from Christ University, with a BA in Psychology, sociology and English Literature. I'm an aspiring Psychologist driven by the passion to study human behaviour and contribute to the field of clinical psychology and mental health. Carrying out a research in the UG and participating in the national level research competition serving as a solid foundation, I aim to enhance my research skills, and expect to build a career in the field of clinical research. Volunteering as a One-on-one Peer Trainer at Centre For Academic And Professional Support, CAPS, I was able te interact with diverse group of individuals, and provide tailored support, which is essential for gaining therapeutic skills. Additionally, addressing disability and need for inclusivity in national and international conferences, has enlightened me to understand and empathise with individuals with disabilities. This further fuels me to contribute to psychological research related to the Psychological well-being of individuals with disabilities and different ethnic backgrounds.Myself a blind woman, I attempt to bring public awareness about accessibility and inclusivity, through my poems, writings and music.
