Seeing manufacturing plants, assembly lines in live stands apart from seeing on television.Being from electronics field, me and my team were allotted in Engine Assembly Plant-2. We got to see the assembly of Engines and many other parts used in Hyundai cars.Going in depth, we learned about the various types of mechanisms used for the automation part of the assembly lines.Most of the assembly was done using robots and assembly line, testing was done manually.Seeing the real application of sensors, knowing about them in detail was very amusing.We also saw the usage of PLC (Programmable Logic Control). Learned how to make basic codes, which stand to be the basics of PLC.
