'Mad Over Sports' (formerly Mad Over Cricket) is a start-up that specialises in organizing sports tournaments. I primarily managed the company's corporate communication and marketing activities including social media coverage, print media adverts, radio coverage, and outdoor media coverage in order to raise funds and build brand recognition. I also developed the marketing media such as posters and videos for the brand.The start-up was successful in establishing its presence in and around Kolkata and achieved a YOY revenue growth of 80% with 7 tournaments over 2 years.

- Undertook projects on Brand Communities and Brand Communications to study industry best practices and recommended models for the company.- Liaised with the creative agency to draw a social media marketing plan for the launch of a new brand "Joy Revivify"- Developed an influencer-based campaign on Instagram for the launch of the new brand. Undertook a comprehensive study of the social media buying behaviour of the new brand's proposed target group in order to select the most effective influencers based on content, engagement and relevance.

Youthink is the annual journal of the Department of Commerce of St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. It is an internationally recognized journal (ISSN: 2347-6222) and the twelfth volume will be launched in September 2017. It comprises of notable articles authored by students and professors alike and interviews of luminaries from India and abroad. As Editor-in-Chief, I was responsible for leading an Editorial Team through the various stages of the development of the journal from scratch- ranging from deciding upon the Theme, Exposition, contacting eminent personalities for Interviews, inducing students to write articles, editing and selecting the articles to be published, marketing the journal throughout the country and ensuring a successful launch event.I also oversaw the design & development of www.xcsyouthink.com, a website launched exclusively for Youthink which serves as the exclusive platform for online distribution of Youthink Vol. XII through its "Request A Copy" function.Along with featuring insightful articles on a multitude of topics ranging from Fake News and the Age of Misinformation to the Air India debacle and the implications of GST, to name a few, this year Youthink also features interviews by Mr. Sachin Tendulkar, Dr. Shashi Tharoor, Shri A.S. Kiran Kumar and Mr. Amish Tripathi and a guest article by Prof. Russell S. Winer, the William Joyce Professor of Marketing at the Stern School of Business, New York University.

Marketing & Sales- IPPEA comprehensive study of TSL's existing pricing strategies for Key Account Customers and henceforth devising a new model based on indexing, so as to facilitate long term pricing contracts. Studied in detail TSL's Marketing & Sales data for L&T, Afcons, IF&LS and analysed MEPS and WPI Rebar indexes to ultimately propose TSL's revised model around WPI.
