Title - The Resilience of the Rail System for International Freight in Öresund Region in Case of Major Disruptions.• Involves simulation and addresses aspects of operational as well as infrastructure planning.• The thesis work aims at assessing different options for the future development of the rail network in the region, in concrete to evaluate alternative options for a second fixed rail link across the Öresund about the impact on the resilience of the rail freight system.

• Research in Simulation and visualization. Modeling sustainable urban transportation concepts. • Evaluated and investigated vehicle emissions metrics for these transportation concepts. • Conceptualized a visualization dashboard that could be used to showcase the different transportation concepts and would allow their comprehensive comparison.
