Inspired by the Gandhi quote “be the change you want to see in the world”, I have advised Board Members, CEOs, Executive Directors, and Senior Managers on how to develop a strategic and operational approach to the changing stance on diversity, inclusion, implicit biases and effective management of harassment. With expertise at an international level, accumulated over the past 20 years, I enjoy supporting organisations find effective solutions to their diversity dilemmas, to ensure that senior managers and staff are conscientious in inclusive practices specifically around behaviours and language. My work covers: • Using a friendly, open and approachable style, I facilitate training sessions on: Managing Implicit Biases, Diversity into practice, Respect and Dignity in the Workplace and Inclusive Leadership. • Finding Your Mojo Programme – Personal Effectiveness/ Leadership training for aspiring Black and Minority Ethnic colleagues - conducted over 6 months• Investigations & Mediations: I conduct high profile independent impartial investigations or mediations into allegations of racism, sexism, other forms of harassment or bullying at work. Organisations have valued my input as complaints are resolved effectively. I have developed a good understanding on organisational complexities.• Diversity Dialogues: Working with Senior Managers, Directors, CEOs, I use my expansive knowledge and coaching experience to facilitate an understanding of the value of Diversity and Inclusion into practice. Senior Managers feel able to share their concern/dilemmas and accordingly take proactive measures.• I have delivered extensive coaching on cultural differences for senior leaders for several international organisations. As a prolific author, I write for my monthly newsletter ‘Essence of Equality’ (2500 subscribers). I contribute regularly to the London School of Economics Diversity Blog. I have appeared in various management related publications and was recently quoted in The Times and The Independent. I am currently writing a book titled ‘Diversity Dilemmas in the Workplace’.
