Mezi raised a total of $11.5M and was acquired by American Express end of 2017 for $125M. Snehal joined Amex's leadership team as VP of Product and helped grow the Mezi org to 100+ employees. Mezi platform is now accessible to 100 million Amex US and International Card members via its flagship mobile app and the platform has been extended across both Travel and Servicing verticals.Before Mezi, Snehal co-founded Dhingana, India's largest music streaming service with 10 million monthly active users, and was its founding CEO till 2013 and then President and CTO till early 2014. Dhingana was acquired by Rdio in March 2014. He joined Rdio's executive team as VP - Emerging Markets overseeing Business Strategy and Product across India and other emerging markets. Snehal has a decade of experience in various senior product management and engineering roles at companies like Yahoo!, Symantec & ADP. At Yahoo!, Snehal lead the Product Management efforts across all key Yahoo! Media properties like News, Movies, Finance, Sports for Social Sharing Initiatives, as well the company’s Open APIs initiative for getting media properties on Mobile. His team’s goal was to make the key media properties more social & open to drive user engagement and capture reach.
