Hi there! My name is Sneha and I'm studying Computer Science at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I am incredibly passionate about science & tech, social justice, sustainability, and female empowerment, and hope to apply these values in my future career.At school I am a Project Manager and Software Engineer in Disruption Lab, which works with large corporate clients to provide tech solutions that are on the forefront of innovation, such as blockchain and AI. I am also an active member of Phi Chi Theta Professional Business Fraternity, where I have furthered my professional development and connected with peers who are invested in the business world.In addition to pursuing rigorous coursework with a concentration in STEM, I integrate my passions into my extracurricular activities and projects. I'm on the Board of Directors for GirlCon, an annual international technology conference that connects 1000+ female students and industry professionals to help bridge the gender gap in tech and empower them for future careers in STEM. Additionally, I was an Instructor Assistant at Kode with Klossy teaching Web Development in HTML/CSS/JavaScript in the summer and having done Machine Learning Research at Northwestern University under Professor Wing Kam Liu.In my free time I love reading rom-coms, trying new recipes, and getting boba with my friends and new connections.
