• Payment Executor (PX): Distributed tier-1 service to process consumer payments, refunds and credits for bookings for Expedia➢ PX is a highly available, consistent and scalable SOAP web service with a well-defined WSDL/XSD interface built with Java Spring, that receives payment items from OMS(Order Management System), utilizes Payment Gateway service to process the payment item, retrieves payment instrument from vault and utilizes Payment Gateway (HAPS) to send it to third party processors for processing.➢ Led the development effort of migrating MID rules which determine the route to process the payment from Hadoop on-prem to cloud for better data security, increased throughput, reduced cost and efficient scalability and flexibility with zero downtime on the booking path.➢ Mentored junior developers & increased team productivity by revamping platform CI/CD pipeline which reduced deployment time by 25% and reducing testing effort by mocking cloud dependencies and enhanced testing framework.
