WACM is UW-Madison’s chapter of ACM-W, an all women’s group where we collaborate with companies to host corporate networking events and tech talks. We also conduct educational sessions for all Computer Science students such as Linux, interview tips and mentoring programs. My role is to help organize and execute some of the many events and speaker series that we host.

TDS is a diversified telecommunications company that serves 6 million customers nationwide. I am part of the Business Intelligence team which focuses on analyzing and managing data that is shared across the company. I did a full review of the BI team’s enhancement requests and service tickets. I reached out to different employees across the company’s business units regarding the status of their requests. All the requests are stored and managed on Cherwell, a ticketing management system. After reaching out to users, I was able to cut down the BI team’s service tickets from 130 to 80. I also fulfilled some of these enhancement requests using several business object tools in the SAP environment to support a broad base of internal customers. I designed data reports using either Crystal Reports, Web Intelligence, OLAP or Analysis for Office. Before I could create the reports, I also had to create queries to extract the data stored within TDS's Business Warehouse database and then add that data to the reports. This was done by using BEx Query Designer and MySQL. I am also currently revising US Cellular National Stores Map on Power BI to contain up-to-date store information that have been impacted by COVID-19.

Moda Magazine is UW-Madison's first and only premiere life and style publication. Our coverage extends from Fashion, Lifestyle, Culture and the Arts. We also host the UW-Madison Fashion Week every spring. My role is to upkeep the website and make creative altercations to it through WordPress. I wrote a guide for editors on how to upload their articles on WordPress. I also lead WordPress & Google Analytics information sessions for the executive board of Moda to help them better understand how to analyze the website's traffic flow and user activity.

Alpha Phi Omega is a national co-ed service fraternity presently on over 375 campuses around the nation. It is founded on the principles of leadership, friendship, and service. I helped develop and upkeep the website for our APO chapter through Weebly.

Not only does APO do various service events, but also social events to create the lasting bonds of brotherhood. Once we have inducted pledges into the fraterning, we place them into families, which already exist of current APO brothers. My role is organize this family data and develop data structures that can support family trees. I also plan family events aimed to strengthen the friendship principle of APO.

BlastAsia is a leading .Net development company and a certified Gold partner of Microsoft, known for its agile-managed services for software product engineering and cloud app outsourcing in the Philippines. I assisted in the development of a product guide for the company’s latest SaaS product, “QuickReach” and revised and updated QuickReach’s release notes to its current version on the App Store. Additionally, I worked cross-functionally with the company’s marketing team on promotion strategies for the different stakeholders of QuickReach.
