The system automated the software build, unit testing, test code coverage analysis, obfuscation, packaging, results notification, and other ancillary tasks.• Successfully lobbied to transform the software development approach from an informal process to one resembling agile Scrum. The resulting standard operating procedures written by management gained FDA regulatory approval.• Made significant contributions to the second generation software architecture for the ILUMA cone beam computed tomography scanner. Contributions included system logging component, connectionless UDP source-listener messaging component, data access layer, and database schema. Software components were written in managed code and made available to unmanaged code components via COM interoperability.• Responsible for defining the architecture of an application serving as ILUMA’s second generation end-user interface. The architecture was implemented as a dynamically composable host and plugins using Silverlight 4.0, RIA services, MEF, and SQL Server 2008 R2.• Developed the GUI for a self-contained ILUMAVision module used to transfer data generated by the ILUMA scanner to various end points including PACS, disk media, and network computers.
