I am a MSBD Technician for BorgWarner, Inc, a global company recognized for their powertrain technologies, in one of their automotive divisions located in Bellwood, Illinois. In this position, I have the opportunity to work closely with our Engineering Team in the development and production of friction plates for a variety of automotive manufacturers such as Ford and General Motors. I am currently assisting in testing a new product for an automotive industry collaboration. It's a very challenging, exciting and engaging endeavor for our company.Before joining BorgWarner and working my way up within the company, I worked for American Antenna and Tellabs. Through American Antenna, I learned how to develop earth station antenna systems - from design to manufacture to installation. With Tellabs, I assisted in software and hardware verification for CABLESPAN telephony systems as a Validation Engineer.I'm a very logical, analytical, and critical thinker. It drives my wife nuts, but I would rather spend the time and energy focusing on the proper way to accomplish a task than have to waste time doing it many times. One of the best parts about my job is the challenge of solving hardware and software issues that come up during the manufacturing processes. I enjoy collaborating with other departments to find efficient solutions, then testing those ideas to produce a quality product.I have a Bachelor of Science degree from DeVry University.I am currently pursing an Associate in Science in Automation Technology from Waubonsee Community College.
