Local Contenect is a software platform for global energy companies to source pre-qualified, local small-business suppliers and comply with local content supplier requirements while operationalizing corporate social responsibility (CSR).Incorporating international standards, national policies and regulations and industry best practices, the platform facilitates the sourcing of pre-qualified local suppliers in emerging markets to help global companies satisfy regulatory requirements, develop sustainable supply chains and contribute to socioeconomic development. The solution supports the following corporate functions: supply chain, regulatory compliance, CSR and environmental, health and safety (EHS).

Advised Fortune 500 and mid-sized corporations on risk, impact and corporate social responsibility (CSR), as well as laws, regulations and international standards. Provided creative, strategic and resourceful solutions to help clients manage risk, comply with internal and external requirements and satisfy stakeholder expectations. Projects managed included:● Fortune 500 Client: Led strategic, year-long transformation at a Fortune 500 company to embed environmental and social standards into global risk management system; conducted due diligence and gap assessments; created action plans; developed strategy, tools, standards, KPIs and guidance documentation.● Fortune 500 Client: Co-conducted executive training on international best practices. ● Fortune 100 Client: Conducted benchmarking and advised on policy and performance.● Colombia Project: Developed a national community investment strategy and program (including stakeholder mapping and investment assessment tools that were later adopted enterprise-wide), that earned regulatory approval upon first submittal, avoiding costly delays experienced by industry peers. ● Kenya Project: Led development of a comprehensive socioeconomic baseline study, stakeholder engagement campaign and social impact assessment.● U.S. Project: Managed the validation of a human rights impact assessment.

Led and coordinated projects, including:● Colombia project: Co-managed development of a detailed gap assessment with regulatory and project financing requirements.● India project: Led development of stakeholder map and register for a multinational’s crisis response preparedness plan. ● Uruguay project: Managed development of a preliminary impact assessment and regulatory review.

While in grad school, supported marketing professor in classes with ~300 students. Created and graded exams. Held office hours for undergraduate business students.

Developed industrial development project proposals with multicultural senior technical and managerial staff. Researched, analyzed, wrote and edited various policy documents, including on CSR initiatives in the region.

Researched and presented on CSR issues in the mining industry, during a consultancy following a UNIDO summer internship. Incorporated findings into a technical report focused on life cycle assessment (LCA).

Developed and facilitated programs for the U.S. State Department’s International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP).

Managed B2B and B2C marketing, partnerships and sales for technology-based start-up. Managed events. Created a marketing strategy. Contributed to the Bay Area's 3,000% membership increase.

Led active travel trips in the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone - biking, hiking, camping and kayaking - for the world's #1 active travel company.

At a private, tuition-free school that serves low-income students and is dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty through education, I created grants and bilingual marketing communications, managed and converted donor database, organized Spanish-speaking parent computer classes and recruited prospective students at events in the community.
