- Carrington College was purchased by SJVC Inc. in December of 2018Developed and launched numerous projects for a number of company-owned sites under the direction of the marketing department including new landing pages, layout and design changes, content updates, etc. including our main carrington.edu site which averages 9k sessions per day. Refactored and helped organize legacy code base to meet current standards, improve reliability, readability, and understanding for our development team. Helped solve and troubleshoot any problems or issues that occurred with numerous sites including cross-browser support, site errors, accessibility, etc. Added and maintained tracking tags across sites in order to track visitor information for planning and execution of projects. Implemented site testing using Optimizely to improve website performance. Developed internal colleague quarterly newsletter site to share important updates and events on a private network for both remote colleagues and on-site colleagues across the western US. Setup and coded HTML email templates for both internal mailings and customer mailings ensuring proper techniques across a variety of email clients. Setup weekly reporting for executive leadership through Google Analytics giving them accurate data and insight to make strong and quick decisions in order to improve company growth. Experience with SEO including researching and tracking keywords, competitor site analysis comparison, and helping to increase organic growth over 8% during a 6-month period. Designed and developed this application to serve parents and coaches of youth sports teams and leagues. The site was built using the PHP framework Laravel, Mailgun email platform, Stripe payment and subscription API, Google Maps API, custom site search using zip code and mile radius showing posts within searched radius, and many other technologies. The site allowed users to create an account, create posts that allowed them to be searched by category and location.
