Columnist with the Pasadena Weekly since 1992. Wrote and directed Beauty Bites Beast: The Missing Conversation About Ending Violence as an entertaining and provocative inquiry into the WHY we leave out women in part of the solution to end violence, not only against them but as a global problem that hurts all of us, obviously including boys and men.

I have used my book, "Beauty Bites Beast" as the basis for the documentary by the same name. The documentary Beauty Bites Beast just completed its Oscar qualifying run in NY and LA and vying for an Oscar nomination in the full length feature documentary category.Our 3d edition of Beauty Bites Beast is now available on Amazon, in kindle and paperback versions. I have written and perform a solo show called, "Now That She's Gone" which we just presented at the New York International Fringe Festival. We got rave reviews and will be touring soon to colleges and universities as well as doing a legit run in NY/LA and possibly Chicago.
