With over 20 years of experience as a hands-on engineer and project manager, my career has been marked by involvement in some of the most pioneering engineering projects in the Power and Energy domains (both onshore and offshore):- First FPSO in US waters (BW Pioneer) at ~10,000 ft water depth- First proposed offshore wind project (Cape Wind) in the US - Heaviest topsides (~65,000 tons) ever constructed (Hebron GBS) - First offshore wind project in US federal waters (CVOW Pilot)- First commercial-scale (~800 MW) offshore wind project in the US- First offshore HVDC substation (1200 MW) in the US- Largest floating production unit (Jangkrik FPU) in Indonesia waters in ~2016- Drilling and Production Platform (Peregrino WHP-C) for offshore Brazil - largest by Equinor outside of Norway- Biogas power generation project in CaliforniaI have Professional Engineer credentials 5 engineering majors; Civil, Mechanical, Naval Architecture, Marine, and Fire Protection Engineering. Currently, I lead the offshore engineering and PM team at WSP USA. I hold a Master's degree in Offshore/Marine Engineering. Before joining WSP, I spent 14+ years at DNV, managing large, complex offshore projects, including those in offshore wind. I also have extensive experience in the fabrication, commissioning and in-service inspections of onshore and offshore facilities. I have worked/managed quality at various fabrication yards along the US Gulf Coast and in Singapore, Korea, Indonesia, and China.
