Co-managing the development and launch of Verra’s Scope 3 Program to drive immediate, credible, value-chain climate action

I advised on nature-based climate solutions to drive emission reductions and enhance carbon removals within corporate value chains. I did this by serving as an in-house technical expert for corporate sustainability strategies, impact accounting, and certification solutions for carbon markets and Scope 3 mitigation outcomes.

Led sustainability strategy, corporate impact footprinting, and environmental performance analysis. Established and implemented bold, context-based sustainability goals-against science-based, ecological thresholds.

Led business case study on triple-bottom-line benefits associated with farmer adoption of regenerative agriculture and carbon reduction practices. Supported the creation and implementation of industry-wide materiality analysis and agricultural sustainability indicators.

Evaluated the carbon sequestration capacity of an agroforestry system I established ten years prior in Togo, West Africa. Investigated the system’s carbon offset potential as a financial mechanism in overcoming food security and deforestation challenges. Developed Master’s thesis on the function of agroforestry systems in mitigating biodiversity impacts associated with wood fuel consumption
