Manager, Portfolio Operations & Product Development - Value Added Services (Vas)Visa Oct 2023 - Oct 2024Foster City, California, UsThe design and support of the product lifecycle management framework led me to the Value-Added Services office of the COO to support portfolio operations for the entire Value-Added Services organization that includes 4 portfolios with 250+ products. As a team we are strategically reviewing various operational initiatives that will position internal Value-Added Services team to successfully execute on their goals. My first initiative has been to lead the development of a strategic Product Roadmap that captures prioritized products, enhancements and platforms in a centralized location for the 4 business units within VAS, while creating access for cross-functional teams like Sales, and Technology.Utilizing my training expertise, I'm designing training for teams across Visa to showcase how Product Roadmaps could be used to support quarterly reporting and sales initiatives. -
Manager, Business Strategy & Operations - Risk & Identity Solutions (Vas)Visa Feb 2022 - Oct 2023Foster City, California, UsThe strategic thinking, training and operational support involved in product and sales operation led to an opportunity to join Risk and Identity's brand new Strategy & Operations team. A team centralized to support all operational aspects of Risk and Identity products. I began with learning all aspects of the product families: what they do, the technology it is built on, the benefit to our clients and how they're sold. As a team, we organized all products into an taxonomy while using the pragmatic framework to perform gap assessments on position in the market, competitive landscape, product focus, distinctive competencies, GTM plan and enablement and distribution strategy. We used this framework to strategically inform Product leaders on what resources are needed to scale. Additionally, I utilized my training skill set to host product training sessions for each product family to educate cross-functional teams and sales organizations on the value of our products. With the gap assessments completed, I began strategically advising on GTM/ Commercialization strategy for each product family. Met with each team to review assessment details, implement a plan to take their pilots out to market and allocate resources.Coupling my Grad School experience and current advising experience, I requested to spend 4 months with Visa's in-house consulting firm to learn more about the consulting track. I took on a 4 month project with our Advising team in Sydney, Australia to learn about insights we generate for our clients and how we pitch and earn business. I used this experience to join an exclusive project to redefine the Risk and Identity product strategy. Utilizing my product knowledge and research skills, I support executive leadership to create the strategy we use today for Risk and Identity Solutions. This led to an opportunity to define the product lifecycle requirements for Risk and Identity Solutions. Pragmatic Institute Certificate completed September 2022 -
