So-Young works mainly in the Family, Probate, and Estate planning area of law. She graduated from SMU Dedman School of Law. During law school, she volunteered at the Human Rights Initiative of North Texas, was part of the W. W. Caruth, Jr., Child Advocacy Clinic, worked as a legal assistant at the Law Offices of William T. Catterton who specializes in Probate, and also did a summer internship in the Criminal District Court No. 3 of Tarrant County. Upon graduation, So-Young was admitted to the Texas bar and began working for LaSusa & Deb, PLLC, specializing in Family, Probate, and Estate Planning. So-Young’s primary focus is to provide practical counsel that helps families navigate the complex maze of rules that have real effect upon their daily lives.
