Ray Phillips is the co-founder of SoapSox, an innovative children's bath product company. He noticed that many children had difficulty with bath time, and some even experienced significant anxiety. To address this, he developed SoapSox, a plush toy that doubles as a washcloth, designed to make bath time fun and engaging for kids.SoapSox quickly gained attention for its practical and playful design, and Phillips successfully pitched the product on the television show "Shark Tank." Although he didn't secure a deal on the show, the exposure significantly boosted the company's visibility. Since its inception, SoapSox has expanded its product line and gained a loyal customer base, praised for its ability to turn a daily routine into an enjoyable experience for children.In addition to their initial success, SoapSox has partnered with major brands such as The Honest Company, Disney, Hasbro, Sesame Street, and Paramount. These collaborations have allowed SoapSox to introduce a variety of additional products, further enhancing their presence in the market and solidifying their reputation for making bath time both fun and beneficial for children. Most recently SoapSox was selected as one of Oprah’s Favorite Things for 2024. This is in part due to our playful ingenuity, quality products, and positive impact on kids and families.
