I am an individual who is attending York University and studying Accounting. I am someone who works hard and has excellent time management skills. I am also self-determined and committed to working to the best of my abilities and hope to gain more experience in the future. I have great customer service skills where I obtained from working at Tim Hortons for over 3 years. Furthermore, I have a certificate for Microsoft Excel from Certiport and developed comprehensive skills in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office. I started my career working at Tim Hortons for more than three years. I learned to organize and manage my time wisely as it was a fast-paced working environment. I learned how to multitask, handle pressure and how to communicate and cater to unhappy customers. I gained a great deal of customer service experience by helping customers to ensure they were satisfied with their orders and helping my team members during rush hours whenever needed. Overall, during my time at Tim Hortons, I have gained confidence within myself, and I know the skills knowledge that I have gained here will continue to help me grow further in my career. Throughout my years at Centennial College, I was able to improve my computer skills. I obtained this skill by learning applied business software where we learned about Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access). Learning this course has helped me receive a certificate on Microsoft Excel. I was also able to improve my leadership, interpersonal and communication skills thanks to courses such as Business Ethics, Global Citizenship, and Business Culture and Collaborative Practices. These courses have helped me learn the importance of leadership and the fundamentals of working as a team.I am seeking a job in the accounting, and finance fields. I am eager to learn and apply my skills and knowledge to the accounting industry. Soon, I will be graduating, and I am excited to start a new chapter in my life.
