I am a product designer responsible for creating, presenting, and ensuring product designs meet safety and ISO standards. I use AutoCAD to generate CAD models and convert structural drawings for CNC plasma machines. Additionally, I generate G & N codes for laser and plasma cutting, offer design perspectives for improvements, and manage drawing archiving and distribution.

My 6-month internship at Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) was an incredibly enriching experience in industrial familiarization, focusing on the trades of diesel mechanics and welding. During this internship, I had the privilege of working on various aspects of marine engineering, repairing ships' generators, engines on oil tankers, and tug and pilot boats.One of the most valuable skills I acquired during this internship was in diesel mechanics. I had the opportunity to work hands-on with marine engines and generators, learning how to diagnose issues, perform maintenance, and make necessary repairs. This experience was not only educational but also provided me with a sense of responsibility and precision as I worked on critical machinery vital for the operation of these vessels.In addition to diesel mechanics, I gained extensive experience in welding. I was exposed to multiple types of welding techniques used in the maritime industry. This included arc welding, MIG welding, TIG welding, and more. I learned how to weld different materials and thicknesses, ensuring the structural integrity and safety of various components on ships and boats.My internship at PNSC was not only a valuable learning experience but also a testament to the importance of teamwork, communication, and attention to detail in the maritime industry. I am deeply grateful for the knowledge and skills I gained during this internship, and I look forward to applying them in my future career in the marine and engineering fields. The experience has not only equipped me with technical proficiency but also instilled in me a strong work ethic and a passion for excellence in ship repair and maintenance.
