Rebecca Stroud is a Administrative Assistant to Dean at Moorpark College. She is proficient in ASL and Japanese. Colleagues describe her as "Rebecca is an absolutely incredible person to work with! She worked for me as an Intelligence Analyst during our deployment to Iraq. On the installation, she maintained the security records for over 4,000 of the brigade's soldiers. She tracked individual security training and investigation status for the organization and ensured no secure-area access violations occurred during her watch by taking a pro-active approach to her job. Outside the installation, Rebecca provided detailed and accurate threat activity updates to the civil affairs convoys that rolled into the most contested sectors of Mosul and Nineveh province. A key member of the team, Rebecca's competence under pressure was proven during an enemy engagement where, under fire, she took life-saving actions on a severely wounded soldier. Her actions resulted in her being awarded one of the nation's highest combat honors. Capable, committed, and caring are all excellent words to describe her.
