Included in this work were also processes and technology required to enable efficient M&A activity.PROJECTWorking, in partnership with Accenture, on a multi-phase program for a Texas based global hardware/software vendor. The project initial phases included an assessment of the vendor’s current licensing and entitlement technology, practices and processes. Included in the deliverables for those phases were a full assessment report plus a 3 year road map including a set of strategic initiatives that may be executed in support of the client’s rapidly evolving strategic business direction..PROJECTDesigned and delivered a web enable application to manage and deliver ISO / IEC 19770-2 Standard Software ID (SWID) Tags to software publishers participating in using this standard as dictated by the US Federal Government Department of Defense (DoD) for use in Software Asset Management (SAM) processes.Designed a service oriented application architecture (SOA) over a three tier technical architecture based upon “LAMP/WAMP” technology utilizing Apache, Linux and Windows, PHP and MySQL. Flex application UI development is being carried out with Flashbuilder 4 using HTTP(s) and Web Services supplied by the LAMP back end.Designed and built the logical and physical database using MySQL tools. Database access logic is all written in PHP. Some business logic written in PHP, the remainder in C/C++.

This project will be completed very shortly. The tool uses Java, Adobe Flex/Adobe Air and C++ technology with a three tier distributed architecture. The product is designed to run on Windows and Linux platforms and operate over large corporate networks looking for devices, and the applications they run, using an NMAP core discovery engine.Previous project commenced in November 2008 (and completed in November 2009), was to architect, design and build a bench top DNA analysis unit utilizing a Windows XP platform and proprietary instrument hardware that performs DNA assays. Led a team of 13 engineers in China spread across two locations, Suzhou and Shanghai. The team implemented the system, currently in Beta test and about to become GA in February, using C++ and C#/.NET 3.5 and WPF as the presentation layer. Concurrently with that project, for a second Dextrys client, architected, designed and implemented web analytic tools (all currently in use) designed to provide visitor analytics for operators of web sites. This program also required leading a small team on China of six engineers, located in Shanghai. This program used multiple technology platforms including Windows, C#/.NET 3.5, SQL Server, Java/JavaScript, Net Beans, Tomcat and MySQL.
