Life Update Time - So with a new profile pic that shows the salt & pepper becoming more evident in my hair it's time to share what I've been working on for the last few months. I would have done this sooner but a double-whammy of Pneumonia in May followed by COVID in June put the brakes on my ambitious timeline! It's time for the next chapter in my life and while I'm still working with a number of clients in the Digital Marketing space I'm off down a path to learn as much as I can and share it, about Irish Whiskey. Getting here has been an evolution that's happened over the last few years. I drank plenty of fine Irish Whiskey before and during the pandemic and I blame Redbreast 12yo as my "gateway Irish Whiskey" and I was asked back in the early part of this year if I knew of an Irish Whiskey expert, which I didn't, who could help out with a tasting, and then there's the renaissance that's happening back on the "auld sod" with 48 working distilleries at last count. For context when I graduated college in 1990 there were just 3...Irish Whiskey sales here in the States are going through the roof, so I thought why not?!I've got my WSET Spirits Level 2 under my belt along with my Irish Whiskey Certificate and I'm working on one more exam certification. While doing that I've put up my website which you'll find here - https://irishwhiskeylad.com/ - and it has a decent amount of written content that I'll continue to flesh out as I continue my journey. The plans for video content had to be pushed back and will ramp up from this week onward, with some fun stuff on the docket.I contacted some of you privately months ago to help me secure URL's and I want to thank you for your assistance then.So in addition to my Digital Marketing work, I'm now an Irish Whiskey Educator or Ambassador who does Education, Events, Tasting & Training, and who is a long way from being an Irish Whiskey expert!Go raibh maith agaibh agus sláinte! ☘️🥃
