I finally figured out what I wanted to do when I grew up and I’m now a freelance Irish Whiskey Educator. My goal is to “elevate the spirit” by sharing my knowledge when I host events that are both engaging and educational. Virtual Tastings, Virtual Cocktail Classes, In-Person Training, In-Person Pairing Experiences, Irish Coffee Masterclasses. While I am brand agnostic I do have my favo(u)rites, as we all do, and one of my current projects is a series of Training Seminars for Foley Family Wine & Spirits. I’m proud to have written a fantastic Training Manual for their Sales Teams that helps to tell the story of Ireland, Irish Whiskey, and two top-drawer Irish Whiskey brands - Two Stacks and Killowen Distillery. The pairing experiences that I host pay homage to both my adopted homeland and Ireland. BBQ, Charcuterie, Cheese, Chips/Crisps, Chocolate, Oysters, and Shortbread are paired exquisitely with Irish Whiskey.
