It's August 2011, the start of my final fall semester at Sonoma State University. I didn’t know it at the time, but my life was about to change forever as my career path was about to be revealed.Walking into class, I found a seat and sat quietly as my professor covered what we would be learning for the rest of the semester.I’d hit the jackpot—a professor who didn’t teach “by the book” but focused on topics that explored where the world of marketing and business was heading.That meant topics such as building websites, using social media to market a business, and web design. A light bulb went off in my head—I had just discovered what I wanted to do professionally.From that moment, I became obsessed with learning everything I could about business and marketing.That obsession drove me to create my first blog and launch dozens of passion projects over the next several years, sparking a love for writing, creating in all forms, and building communities.The rest, as they say, is history.Fast forward over a decade, and I've accumulated years of experience building content functions at high-growth startups, launched my own business, and met incredible people along the way.Today, I’m still creating and building—whether it’s growing my current company, Social Impact World, or tackling new challenges in my quest to transform the corporate world into a force for good.I’ve been fortunate to discover my purpose early in my career, allowing it to guide me toward opportunities that help me thrive.While this is just a snapshot, now that you know a little bit about my journey, let's connect!
