I have 2 years of experience in research related to permafrost/hydrogeology and 5 years of experience working as a Geotechnical Engineer Consultant. The focus of my work has primarily been modelling, analysis and design on a broad range of projects, from underground construction to temporary shoring and slope stability. In 2022, I had the opportunity to work as a QAQC engineer on a massive slope stabilization project in Lihir open pit gold mine, Papua New Guinea. Since then, I have been enjoying a mix of field and office work, with a preference for complex ground conditions and challenging environments. Outside of Engineering, I enjoy long bike rides, ski-touring in Canada's most beautiful mountains, and many other outdoor activities.
