- Implement critical engagement functions to maintain and cultivate national partnerships and further lead all of the necessary processes and procedures that ensure The Union meets all statutory requirements and authorizations to operate in Myanmar- Train and manage a team to monitor these strategic liaison efforts closely, urgently coordinating responses, anticipate needs and develop recommendations to avert challenges or issues that could arise relating to The Union’s public partnerships- Aligning and facilitating the development of programmatic responses to support the National Strategic Plan for TB and HIV- Lead advocacy and engagement efforts with key stakeholders and counterparts, ensuring all required permissions for The Union’s operating status in Myanmar are up to date- Investigate and advise on any updated operational requirements for The Union and ensure plans and timelines for the renewal of agreements are implemented in a sufficient time- Ensure staff are keenly aware of the necessary preparation and approaches to rapidly respond to requests from international and national counterparts and ensure alignment of field level liaison efforts with the office.- Ensure staff understand critical issues that impact our strategic relationships and develop sufficient advocacy skills for their areas.- Ensure liaison documentation assets are kept up to date, secure and accessible, supervise to ensure content meets the context of every situation, preventing sensitivities.- Collaborate with Compliance Manager where compliance and statutory needs intersect- Contribute to SMT’s efforts to develop programme strategies and manage the process of strategic planning to ensure alignment with contexts, community needs, and national plans, statutory requirements and legal status are aligned, together with Compliance ManagerReview proposals, concept notes and ensures alignment with current nationwide agreements, initiating plans for approval of new activities
