Sofen Kumar Jena has completed PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata in the year 2014 and postdoctoral studies from University of Louisville, Kentucky in the Year 2016. Subsequently he has almost 4.5 years of Industrial CFD research experience.Apart from CFD sofen is also working in the domain of time series analysis, spectral analysis, probability and statistics. Currently Sofen is acttively learning the machine learning, data analysis and deep learning and interested for a switch is career in this modern field that utilizes his earlier experiences of CFD/Fluid and Thermal engineering. Currently he is active in the research of following domain of Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer using CFD.Areas of CFD, sofen has worked with:1. Conjugate Heat Transfer.2. Turbulence Modelling3. Euler-Euler Multiphase Flow, VoF and Mixture Model.4. Euler-Lagrange particulate flow using DPM5. Surface to Surface and Participating Thermal Radiation Heat Transfer. 6. Condensation and evaporation heat transfer. 7. Heat and Mass transport in Porous Media.8. Non Newtonian fluids. He is a experienced user of the following tools. a. Ansys Fluent, UDF development, Star CCM+. b. MATLAB, Python, C., c. CFD post, Tecplot. d. Space Claim, Creoe. Fluent Mesher, Workbench Meshing and Hypermesh.f. MAPLE, Mathematica, SPSSg. LATEX.
