I am a nature-loving woman who has training and studies in graphic design, marketing, advertising, and commercial photography.I specialized in digital retouching of fine jewelry and portraits for about 4 years. After living 6 long years in Mexico City, I returned to the Riviera Maya with great enthusiasm to rediscover the Playa del Carmen that saw me grow in my first years of life. Fascinated by this new perspective, I decided to make a radical change in my life, dedicating myself to produce and sell handmade jewelry with natural stones and minerals.During this new stage I have also taken courses on the design and assembly of organic edible gardens, planting, irrigation and harvesting them.Inspired by the growing human need to reconnect with healthier and more sustainable lifestyles, I noticed that tourists who come to Quintana Roo seek to acquire organic and artisanal products to consume during their stay, finding an underdeveloped market, with inconstant suppliers, without no one to offer them a list of products so they can choose, and the few products that are found are damaged by heat, dirty or in poor condition.Inspired by the growing human need to reconnect with healthier and more sustainable lifestyles, I noticed that tourists who come to Quintana Roo seek to acquire organic and artisanal products to consume during their stay, finding an underdeveloped market, with inconstant suppliers, without no one to offer them a list of products so they can choose, and the few products that are found are damaged by heat, dirty or in poor condition.Talking about this with my sister Karla Mondragón, who is a biologist specialized in organic agriculture, with 15 years of experience in developing ecological commercial projects, we decided to put together our knowledge and experience in order to create this family business called Organic Veggies Playa, a marketer that will take tourists, quality organic and artisanal products, already cleaned, refrigerated and frozen, directly at the door of the hotel or Airbnb where they are staying, so that they can consume and use them immediately. We want to offer healthy products that contribute to caring for the environment, as well as generating a positive impact on the regional economy, being that link between producers and final consumers, with fair trade and social responsibility policies, which mainly benefit the state of Yucatan, Quintana Roo, and Chiapas. Looking for more than 70 families to benefit, as well as to support sustainable development throughout our beautiful peninsula.
