I work with a team of college interns on the creation of media with the purpose of providing clear and accessible information on quantum computers. I have helped with a piece of media that explains superconducting qubits and am currently working on researching information for a piece on quantum cryptography.

I program in Java, writing a TeleOp code for the robot to function correctly during the driver-controlled period and multiple autonomous codes to complete the many challenges of the game. ROGO's robot in this year's game, CENTERSTAGE by RTX, required the development of several methods to control a high-torque arm in a controlled and precise manner.

I learned how to operate the robot and control the drivetrain during the 2022-2023 FTC season game, POWER PLAY by Raytheon Technologies. My role also included providing feedback to the lead builder and programmer to best optimize the robot and its functions during the driver controlled period.

USC Robotics is a relatively new organization that serves hundreds of students at USC School District and reaches out to thousands in the Pittsburgh area. It teaches the extremely valuable skills of problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, logic, programming, CAD, teaching, organization, finance, professionalism, and so much more. I primarily help with FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) teams at the high school, but I also am heavily involved in the development of other programs including SeaPerch, Drone Soccer, FIRST Lego League (FLL), FIRST Explorer, and many other introductory robotics programs.I help to manage the club by doing tasks of every type. I help to plan events, manage finances, fundraise, organize outreach, present at info events to potential members or donors, and so many other random things. I meet very regularly with the other leaders to bring complex ideas into existence and to lead the club ever-further to success and growth.

The L.A.U.N.C.H. network consists of all mentors and mentees of the L.A.U.N.C.H. program. As a graduated Lady of L.A.U.N.C.H., I asynchronously work on my Advocacy Unleashed project and meet with other current and past Ladies to support them in their endeavors.

L.A.U.N.C.H is a competitive program run through the Pittsburgh Technology Council. It is designed to transform the natural curiosity of young women into a voice of leadership in the STEM industry, equipping them not only with confidence, but with research, networking, and entrepreneurship abilities as well as encouraging growth as leaders.

Remake Learning Day at USC was my MYP Project and is now simply a passion of mine. Alongside my mentor, I help to coordinate the many teacher and student-run events. I am in charge of coordinating with clubs and students as well as running the floor on the day itself. Our 2024 RLD attracted hundreds of visitors from all over the USC and Pittsburgh area.We organized twenty unique workshops that included everything from robotics to cooking, speech and debate, repurposing clothing, theater, photography, all sorts of art, and much more.

We worked to design and build a chassis/drivetrain. This process included prototyping many iterations, building and rebuilding many times throughout the season to best optimize the structure, weight, and efficiency of the robot. We also engineered a hanging mechanism and catapult launcher for our robot to best complete the challenges of this year's game, Over Under.I also serve as a strategist and strategic voice during the build and in competition. My role outside of the competitive season is an outreach manager.

GIPS, Global Issues Problem Solving, teaches a unique six-step problem solving process which can be applied to the real world in local and global communities as well as in future societies. It teaches critical and creative thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills.The topic for each competition is different, so over the years, we have learned about insects (qualifying problem 2022), mining (states 2022), antibiotic resistance (internationals 2022), the robotic workforce (QP 2023), throw away society (states 2023), currency (internationals 2023), Antarctica (QP 2024), autonomous transportation (states 2024), and various other topics for non-qualifying problems.We have reached out to the professional community twice, the first time to gain a deeper understanding of antibiotic resistance in bacteria from a doctor and the second time to learn more about economics and currency development from a professor of economics at Pitt.
