In May 2020, I founded my own social media consultation company while I continue to navigate my other internships during quarantine for COVID-19. I started this company as a way to help small businesses navigate the oversaturated market of social media, and also provide services to individuals as well such as graphic design, professional photoshoots, and more. As more and more businesses depend on social media, it has become important for them to consult someone who understands every detail of platform growth, which I believe I have gained through my various experiences. I specialize in all aspects of growing a platform, such as website design, photo-editing, content creation and calendar management, general consultation, SEO, COPY, blogging/writing, and graphic design such as logos, content promotions, and business cards. Unfortunately, I had to close up shop due to academic responsibilities as well as starting an internship, however this was a very valuable experience I will remember fondly.

At STEPS Ministries, I was an intern then manager who worked on social media strategy and expanding its message online through various graphics and other digital content. I was in charge of all aspects of their social media and design content calendars, SEO campaigns, and engage with our audience via our social media platforms. Below I have attached some examples of graphic designs I create weekly for their blog. Unfortunately, I had to leave due to COVID-19.

As a seasonal intern at Pursuit & Tie, I managed their three social media platforms, blogs, and newsletters. I also focus on leads, events, and ensuring their services are properly promoted to prospective customers. I create weekly content that highlights their services and business advice for our customers and provide monthly blogs and newsletters written specifically to help them learn more about professional development. I utilized multiple software such as Canva, Mailchimp, and others that allowed me to edit videos for them.

Within this internship, I worked closely with Communications Specialists and gained knowledge and understanding about the ins and outs of social media. I utilized multiple software techniques to create media lists, demographics analysis, and managed online traffic and audits. Beyond that, I also assisted in monitoring User Generated Content (UGC) and learned how to work different editorial calendars. Along with those weekly tasks, I wrote blogs and articles and helped with other projects as Stripe Reputation gained more business.
