Wait & Hope Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to charity and education.As Director at the Foundation, my tasks include:> Incorporation of the entity as a tax-exempt organization under the laws of Delaware, U.S. > Oversight of legal tasks: amending the bylaws, reviewing the organization’s articles of incorporation, handling logistics with a registered agent office and contacting the IRS.> Collaboration with the other directors in board meetings, fundraising direction, and organization of its charitable activities. > Financial operations> Social media > Upfront contact with prospective partners, donors, and community members

Conducted legal research for ongoing business transactions. Handled logistics & drafted a sales contract for an exhibition in November 2023.

Working as Class Vice President entails the advocacy of student-professor and administrative relations, spearheading a class note-taking system, the creation of a monthly class newsletter, and delivering university mandates onto peers.

3rd place finalist in the 2023 Mock Trial hosted by ELSA IE University. Participated as co-counsel in two trials relating to bank fraud and homicide, and as a witness. Drafted motions to dismiss, motions to suppress evidence, and cross-examination questions. Focused on researching U.S. federal and state laws.

Multiple project were undertaken in this experience; one project consisted of working with legal clients in both English and Spanish, writing legal reports, facilitating communication between colleagues, alongside the ProLibertas Foundation/Fundación Prolibertas. Moreover, alongside a technology start-up in its beginning stages to provide feedback on the legal framework of a business, and identifying legal issues relating to that start-up.

Short-term research fellow role working on a report which was submitted to the JURI Committee of the EU Parliament concerning the impact of sunset clauses in the Energy Charter Treaty, and its relationship with the Paris Agreement.
