About Sofia Bavas

I’m a film director and creative director based in Berlin focusing on moving images and copywriting. As an experienced copywriter I am developing holistic concepts for campaigns and brands. Always focused on strong conceptional ideas, storytelling and highly aesthetic imagery. Over the last 10 years I’ve moved comfortably between the fields of film, design and advertising- creating work for commercial clients. Shifting my focus into the craft of writing and directing film, my work is highly influenced from my background in arts and design. I studied at the University of Arts Berlin, at the California Institute of Arts and at the Royal Academy of Arts Stockholm. My work is driven by the approach to write and direct authentic, emotionally engaging and empowering stories and to reveal new perspectives on how we see, feel and create the world we live in.https://www.sofiabava.com
