Head Of Product Development And Design
CurrentDuties:- revealing the trends of the world fashion and offering an adapted version to customers;- work with Product teams and prototypists on product development, costings and lead time;- support the team to negotiate cost of samples, materials and final production costs;- provide a clear vision to the team for workshop orders, workload, and priority list internally;- manage the handover process between prototypists, QM and Logistics- ensure sign off master samples are completed with QM and ADL product development team prior to production.- constant liaison with Product Marketing, Designer, QM, Packaging and suppliers to ensure all relevant development steps are followed through and signed off;- development of a proposal for buyers in the form of adapted collections for the buyer;- development of seasonal collections and its introduction into production;- searching for the fabrics and obtaining the right prices for buyers in terms of price-quality ratio;- working out of samples (correction of planting of achievement of necessary tasks)- meetings with customers;- business correspondence;- creation of presentations;- tracking of samples;- comments on the samples;- presentation of the collection at the buyer's office
