I am an economics major with a minor in environmental studies. My background in economics has allowed me a new perspective on how I view climate change as I try to be a part of the change. I truly believe in deeply understanding issues before coming up with solutions. My experience volunteering in my own community has allowed me to see that. I have experience volunteering with Friends of Ballona Wetlands by participating in restoration projects and seeing firsthand the impacts of climate change.
