Sofia has a master's degree in mechanical engineering with a keen interest in research and development.She completed her thesis in the area of composite materials, in which she tested, developed and characterized aluminium foam sandwich panels for use in the automotive industry.After completing her master's degree, she began a research fellowship in the field of biomechanics, where she worked on the biomechanical analysis of accidents and traumatic episodes in female heads.Proactive and dedicated, she developed skills in teamwork, time management, leadership, initiative, planning, communication, self-motivation, cultural awareness and commitment during the 7 years she was a Girl Scout and took part in various volunteer campaigns.Sofia is always looking for new challenges and opportunities.“We should strive to welcome change and challenges, because they are what help us grow.
