Dedicated and experienced working in international environments, I envision new perspectives to diversify my career. I got my PhD in materials engineering and have high multidisciplinary knowledge of different subjects such as: - managing and coordinating EU and national innovation projects: preparing and writing proposals, elaborating accurate budgets for the project in terms of cost, planning and accomplishment of the overall project, and progress reports within deadlines. I am, for instance, very familiar with the application process for Horizon 2020 Calls- scientific writing: scientific projects and reports (2011 – present), 56 publications in peer-review scientific journals (2008 – present) that include 1 Invited review paper; 55 Scientific papers, 8 as the corresponding author, 17 ISI-listed conference abstracts; 12 Scientific papers in conference proceedings; also 1 book chapter and 1 patent. Documents related to lab management following ISO 9001 (2014 – 2016) and Good Laboratory Practice guidelines (2006 – 2019). I am also a reviewer. - scientific research in Tissue Engineering & Regenerative Medicine, vaccination and infectious diseases, technology development, and technology transfer and knowledge in materials engineering, namely biomaterials (development, physicochemical analysis, in vitro techniques and initiation to technical gestures in animal experimentation)- organizing and participating in scientific events such as congresses and workshops. For example, the organization of the annual international workshop “HBV cure” (digital: 30/11/2021 & hybrid: 05/07/2022: ~150 people in person, Lyon, France)- supervision and tutoring of undergraduate/graduate students (2015-2018), and I collaborated in teaching (practical lessons) – Materials Engineering, Polymer Engineering and Biomedical Engineering students. Also, since 2018, I have been the representative of AGRAFr (www.agrafr.fr) in Lyon. The aim is to develop multidisciplinary synergies and encourages exchanges at the professional level between graduated Portuguese living in France. Related to the association, I am also responsible for the “Conto Contigo” activity is a free activity promoting the Portuguese language that proposes reading sessions for children (3 to 10 years) and their companions. Please have a look at my CV for more details, and do not hesitate to contact me if you need my services.
