Originally from Mexico City, I relocated to Vancouver in 2021 to pursue a two-year diploma in Environmental Sciences. I was honored with the Douglas College Global Engagement Award for my research on sustainable technologies. My mission is to raise awareness of environmental threats and inspire others to adopt sustainable lifestyles.Moving to a new country alone at 19 was a life-changing experience that taught me how adaptable, resilient, and resourceful I can be. Through this journey, I've learned the value of hard work and always seeking opportunities to grow. I take great pride in persistence and dedication and believe in treating others with kindness and empathy, as we never know the challenges someone else may be facing.My hobbies include nature and music. I love going outdoors for camping, hiking, and skiing but I also enjoy playing the guitar, Hip-Hop, and socializing. I am fluent in Spanish, and English and proficient in French.
