Greetings! My name is Sofia Cedeno and I am a senior majoring in English Literature and Creative Writing at CUNY Hunter College. I am passionate about crafting compelling narratives and have honed my skills in various writing-intensive courses and workshops.I have previously interned at Kiss and Tell Magazine, where I’d pitch, research, write, and edit women's health articles under deadlines. My role also involved updating previously published content and assisting the CEO with research and edits on her articles before publication.In addition to my writing experience, I've worked in the hospitality industry, where I developed strong interpersonal and organizational skills. As a Maitre ‘d at Avra Madison, I ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining the dining room, directing hostesses, and managing reservations.I'm proficient in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office, and various reservation systems like OpenTable and Resy. My experience has equipped me with strong research, editing, and planning skills, making me a quick learner and a valuable team player.I am eager to work with organizations that strive to create positive change and am always looking to expand my knowledge and contribute my abilities.
