As an intern, I had the opportunity to receive hands-on experience and education in organic and sustainable agriculture, food system development, food policy, nonprofit development, marketing, research, and fair and just food systems. Through FOG, I was also able to partake in the Fresh Access Bucks program, which supports Food Stamp users and low-income families by providing them access to fresh, local, and more affordable produce while supporting Florida's farmers.
