👩🏻‍💼Hi! I’m Sofia, a Biomedical Engineer with a Bachelor's degree from Università Politecnica delle Marche, currently completing my Master’s in Biomechanics and Biomaterials at Politecnico di Milano. 📚My education has equipped me with a solid understanding of the biomedical world, and I’ve developed a strong interest in the rehabilitation field. I'm eager to contribute to innovative processes in functional assessment and rehabilitation processes.👩🏻‍💻I’m currently working on my thesis at the NEAR Lab, Politecnico di Milano, where I’m developing and implementing a single-joint knee testing bench with a hybrid control system that integrates motor, FES (Functional Electrical Stimulation), and EMG (Electromyography) signals for rehabilitation purposes. 🤝🏻Alongside my technical expertise, I am a collaborative individual, having gained valuable experience in group projects throughout my studies. My Erasmus experience, in particular, allowed me to work with multinational and interdisciplinary teams, enhancing my communication skills in multiple languages and fostering an open exchange of ideas.✨I am looking forward to bringing my skills, dedication, and passion for innovation into the field of biomedical engineering.
