I thrive off of challenges and am constantly trying to better myself. I want to pursue a major in engineering. I was mentored by a mechanical engineer from Milwaukee Tool for a school project and instantly fell in love with his job. I’ve always been a critical thinker and a natural leader; these skills showed through while working with Milwaukee Tool. I was the project manager for my team and it gave me a glimpse of what a job would look like in this field, and everything about it is something I know I will have an everlasting passion for. The project taught me the following about myself: I can lead a team - I find common ground for my teammates to settle disagreements- I make sure all voices are heard- I manage time to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner I learned how to implement soft skills- I pay large attention to detail to ensure nothing is missed/left out. - I can communicate between my mentor and teammates and make sure everyone is on the same page.I am always trying to be better - I am constantly trying to learn new skills, as I never settle - I analyze all decisions before making them - I am able to stay level-headed when faced with a challenge I am always trying to improve whether it's knowledge, interpersonal skills, or understanding those around me.
