Projektet var ett samarbetsprojekt mellan Stockholmskällan, Wikimedia Sverige och Riksantikvarieämbetet (platser.se) med stöd av Vinnova. Projektet belönads med "Årets pedagogiska pris" 2017 som delas ut av föreningen FUISM. Educator in the project "WikiWelcome - students searching and sharing knowledge about their local area in present, past and future" The Project is a cooperation between Wikimedia Sverige, Stockholmskällan and Riksantikvarieämbetet (Platser) and supported by Vinnova.About the project:This project aims at using a learning resource that takes a holistic approach to teaching by utilizing three digital platforms to create entrances to the students' own surroundings. The pedagogical starting point for pupils' digital creation is awareness of the history and linguistic genres on the basis of the present, past and future. These time perspective will be represented on Platsr, Wikipedia/Wikimini and Stockholmskällan. To participate and create digital content for these different services will develop the students' media and information skills and their understanding of crowdsourcing, source criticism and the link between the physical and digital space. The target group is students in years 1-6 and high school. With the classes that are included in the pilot project we aim to develop an open educational resource (OER) with text, movies and student texts as emamples. Through Stockholmskällan's administration they will continue to be used and developed even beyond the project has ended.
