Aim: Conduct a cross-cultural adaptation of the Cooking Task (an ecological assessment of executive functions developed in France) to the French Quebec context, and evaluate its psychometric properties in adult participants secondary to acquired brain injuries, specifically stroke and traumatic brain injuries.Will be one of the first occupational therapists in Quebec to receive training and certification on the Cooking Task.

Clientele: musculoskeletal injuries and mental illnesses (private, CNESST, SAAQ, DCF/2nd line) - Perform assessments and develop treatment plans geared towards return to work and improving overall function. - Perform ergonomic work evaluations, modifying workstations, and making equipment recommendations- Perform on-site workplace evaluations (i.e., job task analyses)- Perform at home needs assessment for technical aids, personal help, and maintenance work at home.

Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital (MNH) 6-week experience on the Neurosurgery Unit (diagnoses included brain tumors); 2-week experience on the Neurological Unit (diagnoses included multiple sclerosis, Guillain-Barre syndrome, myasthenia gravis, spinal decompression and fusion).

Aim: Promote access to occupational therapy services for early intervention in Eeyou Istchee (Cree territory in northern Quebec). Build partnerships and collaborate with the founders of Amar Seva Sangam (developers of the early intervention program in Tamil Nadu, India) and members of the Cree health board (CBHSSJB), to determine the logistics of implementing and culturally adapting the program for Eastmain, Cree.
