Hi, I’m Sofia Esteban, a freshman at the University of Texas at Austin, pursuing a dual major in Government and Plan II Honors. With a deep passion for the intersection of policy, business, and diplomacy, I aim to drive meaningful change, particularly in the realm of educational equity. I am the founder of Project SEEN, a nonprofit initiative supporting underfunded Title 1 schools, and I serve as the Youth Outreach Director for Colombia's Ser Pilo Paga program, working closely with the Colombian Ministry of Education to bridge educational divides. My commitment to advocacy extends through public speaking engagements on political reform and social justice, having delivered a TEDx talk on climate change and represented UNICEF USA on an international panel. Whether it’s leading workshops for over 800 future business leaders through FBLA or spearheading the City of Houston’s first-ever Education Youth Town Hall as the Chair of the Educational Equity Committee, I am driven to create platforms for dialogue and action. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like to connect or collaborate: sofiaesteban@utexas.edu
